From July 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011, the cut amounts to $750 million, and it grows to more than $1 billion in 2011-12. Sadly, the government’s downloading will now force pharmacy to make difficult choices. We will continue to advocate for responsible reinvestment in direct funding of front-line healthcare and a transition implementation process that won’t further burden community pharmacies. |
